Yesterday, I purchased my first ever domains. In order to do that I needed to login. I picked a user name that was available. I accidentally closed the browser. I went to sign up again. The same user name was not available.

I purchased 4 domains. I got a good price. Later that night, I tried logging in. I got an error message in pink after entering my credentials. It's as follows.

"Having trouble signing in? Try again in 22 hours xx minutes."

I was wondering already if something fishy was going on.

I waited until today. I attempted to sign in after the time period had elapsed.

I got a pink error message again.

"Having trouble signing in? Try again in 6 hours xx minutes."

I also remember that the original domain I went for was available. I thought GoDaddy was the only method of purchasing a domain. The domain was a .com, but it was going for over $8000. I said 'screw it'. I bought the .me .mobi .xyz .us

I noticed that my .us selling price (their estimate) was now more than I paid for. about 6 times more.

I thought I'd see if the .com domain price fluctuated.

It did not fluctuate at all. It had just been purchased, minutes after I purchased mine.

Well, I went to login in just now... with about 4 hours left still on the countdown. I intended to upload a screenshot of what I was prompted with. It let me login. That might have something to do with me emailing support. I will check my email now. Hm... nothing.
