Pure trash. They take the money but do not deliver the service. Then they will not solve their problem. Then they threaten me with their legal people if I should demand to know why they keep the money and not the service. Evil. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time.

I've been a GoDaddy customer since November 2004. I've watched prices rise and customer service decline. Their reps used to answer the phones and make sure your issues were resolved. Now you shuttled off from one uninformed Bozo to the next. Big Whoop that they are supposedly open 24-7. You can't get anyone during the day or night.FF

My customers hosted exchange solution was compromised. We were moved to o365 but needed to update the MX records inside GoDaddy.

We do not have the password and the email address used for a password reset is the same email that was compromised and we can no longer access.

I contacted GoDaddy support on 12/6 and they directed me to the account recovery team ticketing system. I followed instructions and uploaded the information requested. I was told 24-72 hours. It has now been a week (12/13).

I have had a single response which was wait longer. This was after the 72 hours I was told.

Leaving a business without email for a week is catastrophic.

GoDaddy should be ashamed of their level of support and failure to meet their SLA's. It looks like they should be spending less money on Super Bowl commercials and more on staffing.

I included chat transcripts to show the empty escalation promises.

The hosted exchange company was compromised and as a result shut down the exchange server. Their solution was to push all customers to o365.

I did not fail to plan.

You shoukd of made sure you had everything before you moved them. Lack of planning does not constitute a emergency on mt part.

I was placed on hold for 70 minutes so I left the line, called again and the same hold music which appears to be the New Orleans funeral Mach for go daddy, because they died. If customer service says this call may be recorded for *** BOB PARSON SOLD THIS TITANIC as it is looking for a restinplace.

I uploaded a new Credit Card, that but theres no one attending to the clients.

I noticed I was charged three times for optimization for two websites that I had no longer. The charges were $90 X 3. When I contacted them they said it was too late to be refunded. I also found out that what I paid for was something I had to do. Im still unsure what any of it was about.

It is the second time that this happened to me with Godaddy. I purchase a domain create an email, pay for it and at some point I am disconnected.

Cant receive nor send any email with that domain. I call them; each time I get a different excuse or just their standard I have escalated it to the special department, they will get in touch with you in z48 hours crap! With my 1st domain, I tried to get it done for a very long time. It almost became a full time job to be on the phone with go daddy.

They might not know that once you give the whole world your business card, there is now way to update a new email as you will never see them again! At some point, I just let go and forgot about that domain with its website!!

Now after years, I made the same mistake to get a new domain for another line of business. Same thing happened with my new domain. Purchased, used, it stopped connecting me to my existing clients.

I cant tell you how many times I called. I am paying my monthly fees but not getting my service. It seems to be their company culture to ignore the client and to just sleep. When I told friends that, their response was that I must bec crazy to try business with those bunch of kids.

I should do engage with local companies l. There were many brilliant and dynamic companies out there. Thats what Im gonna do. A company that calls it self a technology company, not able to assist on such a simple email issue should be shut down, with license taken away if they even have one!

Their service might be enough for South African level.

for the US they are elementary.

- on top of that, how arrogant they are over the phone. Unbelievable how those buttheads still exist!!!

Wow, I’m shocked by all the horrible reviews about unauthorized charges and not being able to use paid for services!!! I purchased my domain through domain.com and paid over 1k for it.

I wanted to make sure I owned the domain, but knew it would be a couple of months before I was able to get everything in order to actually get the website up and running. The email I purchased as well, Inobviously planned to use right away. It’s on all my merchandise that myself and other employees as well as clients, wear, it’s on my business cards. It’s on the actual merchandise that I’ve made and sold.

After reading all these, I feel extremely discouraged about getting this issue resolved ever and don’t understand why I’m being told from domain that I have to contact godaddy to begin with!!! I never wanted to do business with them and wasn’t told or made aware that they were going to be connected to my purchase AT ALL!!!

I’m sorry to read you’re going through these ridiculous, costly issues as well. We all need to come up with a way to hold them accountable!!!!!

Refusal to refund for service not ordered

I was billed for a service I did not request. When the statement from PayPal arrived, it included a bill from GoDaddy, but did not indicate what the charge was for. I contacted Go Daddy to ask for an explanation. I was told that ab invoice had been emailed to me, and found it in my Spam . It was for hosting a domain name that I had bought some years ago, but never used. I asked for a refund, but was informed that they have a policy that doesn't allow refunds. Hello? Are you serious? Yes. They are. Buyer beware.

Your advice should have been to make sure your domains aren't set on auto-renew and to handle your business like a competent adult. This fail is on you son...

I got charged twice for a domain renewal, and the fact that they only have costumer service by phone is awful. I am mute, and the fact that calling them is the only option for getting help is not helping me at all. The costumer service is really all I have to complain about, but thats bad enough in itself.

Pethetic service no tech team supports have shifted and get no help or support, its like the believe in self service but please buy their products and keep running after them and they don't care as it is not their work, everytime u speak the team its only interest is to up sell, their products this or by that no u r using a third party product can't support it, just excuses, or by saying i r not using their products, boss in 1982, were u selling domains in India, not at all, and your company goes not care for the last 2 years, email not working but who cares, once we get the money you forget as sale is finally done, speaking to ur team does not help, as my email raina.co.in still not able to use the service, seems u have realised that in India, good business but all idiots, please stop it's itsaying world service

Thieves of GoDaddy technical team. They always lie.

They are not ready to listen to the real issue. Wasting 48 or 72 hours sending mail says your problem is solved. But the question remains. I am trying to get my May 6, 2023 backup but unfortunately, it didn't work for me.

I tried many times to solve this problem with your technical team but they wasted my 48 or 72 hours and solved the problem by sending mail. Unfortunately, they have been doing this for 20 days now, and rather than solving the problem they are trying to trick me or make me feel tired of the process. Finally, they told me that they had a technical problem and were working on it.

But no such technical fault has been mentioned on the GoDaddy status webpage on any date. And I'm not foolish enough to believe that a big company would take 20 days to fix such a customer-sensitive bug.
