Does GoDaddy Hate Half the Country?

As a customer of GoDaddy, I am truly disappointed with your recent decision to shut Prolifewhistleblower.com down due in part to the fact that it makes me question whether or not you are willing and open to displaying hatred toward 60% of the citizens living in this country. I urge you as an impactful leader at GoDaddy today, do everything possible within your power so that people like myself who have been loyal customers for many years will never need to worry about being randomly blacklisted on our website hosting service just because we happened to support something different than what is popular right now politically speaking.

GoDaddy changed settings of emails getting deleted automatically for more than a year
On 8th October 2021, GoDaddy sent us mail that they are migrating our account to a more secure server, and this was sent as "do not reply" with no consent seeking from us. Since then, I can't see any mail more than a year when i log in on any of my webmail account managed by GoDaddy through cPanel. To our shock, without our consent, they have changed the setting to delete permanently all mails beyond 365 days. It's a business account email since 2016, and I can't see any of the old emails beyond one year on my webmail account. I am asking GoDaddy to restore my old emails immediately with in this week otherwise I will file legal case against them seeking damages to my business

I need to find out if i had any choice regarding Microsoft 365. I do not want it. How do I cancel it and return to workspace email????? There is no help on line on that subject and the phone numbers provided don't even ring. This used to be a customer friendly co. I will be canceling.

Terrible customer service

I was told that my services could not be renewed unless I update my (new) credit card information. I wrote them and told them that I do not wish to update credit card info, and to cancel my services. They told me I had to do that thru my portal. Couldnt log into my portal without providing a drivers license photo. I asked them why; they dont know what I look like now - what good is a photo Id going to do? And it would only be a picture of my drivers license or would it? Im pretty good with PhotoShop.

There is absolutely NO customer service. I unfortunately have been dragged into this shocking company by my son's company. Some imbecile I spoke to last night said my son's company was being hosted by the domain GATOR HOST, not GoDaddy. GoDaddy has totally reformatted my Microsoft Outlook -All my folders are gone and replaced by Office. I have spent no short than 2.5 hrs to get through to 3 customer "service" agents who were as helpful as a fly!!!

Deplorable Website Design Service

GoDaddy over-promised and under delivered. They promised a great website design experience.

What I received was a dreadful project manager who refused to be flexible, mislaid the images I sent to her in the GoDaddy system, and had a strong passive aggressive streak. When I saw the draft of the website, it included none of my images, and was amateurish to state it mildly. The website was unusable. I was still not allowed to speak to the designer.

GoDaddy has refused to refund the money that was paid up front. If you are planning to work with GoDaddy to build a website, DONT! You will regret it. Emails to the CEO and the Customer experience executive remain unanswered.

When you call GoDaddy they indicate they want you to have a great customer experience, but this is an absolute lie. They do not care about their customers.

No technical service

Worst service ever

I bought a domain and an email address from Go Daddy on Wednesday. One day later my account was blocked for no reason.

For 5 days I have been calling for technical support, I talked to 5 different persons and no one was able to solve my issue. I have been told to wait for Monday UK time for the IT person to contact me. I was surprised becuase they advertise it as 24/7 support service! They claim to be a dlobla service while they answer the phone just to tell you wait for the UK office to open.

Monday receiving no call, I contact them again, and the person on the phone told me Someone alse is scheduled to call you so I can do nothing for you, you just need to wait for his call.

My store launching was due 4 days ago and I am blocked because no one is able to solve my issue. When I asked for a refund I was told it's not possible because we can't access the account.

I have never used the domain name that I purchased three years ago. In January, they contacted me that they couldn't auto-renew (don't remember asking for that) because my credit card had expired. I emailed, stating I did not want to renew and did not furnish them with a new expiry date. They guessed the new expiry year, charged the $198. I denied the charge with Mastercard carrier, they reversed it. I received an email from Go Daddy saying I don't have the domain any longer and I notice today that Go Daddy has charged the amount again to my card. If they are so desperate for my $198 they can keep it! What a useless scam operation.
