Godaddy hosting sucks

never use godaddy hosting for wordpress. all we require in wordpress are plugins but they have disabled some plugins. i wonder they have disabled the most important plugin which is w3 total cache. they claim that their caching plugin is better. godaddy sucks. few days back they disabled my w3 total cache claiming that their cache is far more better. this led to huge decrease in my page speed all i want to say is that godaddy wordpress hosting is unreliable and also i would advice you never to trust them. this company does not keep their words they are just blood sucking rats who want you to spend more and more on their services http://www.bakchodgyan.com

Deleted my website so they could bill me more

GoDaddy deleted my entire website and then told me to restore it I would have to pay $170! The customer service representative also accused me of being a liar, told me I didn't know how to properly run my business, and was just all around rude and not helpful. I bought a domain, got a RECEIPT, now they say it's not mine.

This morning I purchased a domain for $1.99 + ICANN fees, so $2.18, and was given a receipt. I then proceeded to buy hosting, and commissioned a designer to create a logo. After checking 'My Domains' list 5 hours later I noticed it still wasn't there. I checked the availability and it said it was available, and now cost $6499!! because it is a "Premium Domain". I called GD who said it was a 'glitch' and they would refund my money. I don't think I should have to give it back because of their 'glitch'. But obviously I have no choice. Legally actionable or not? What do you think? I need to add seven more words. There.

GoDaddy Removes Ticketing and Email Support In Favor Of Phone and Live Chat Since they changes the Workspace and WebHosing log in page I have to re-submit my email and password constantly. There is no information on how to stop this time wasting annoyance. I hate this company and the extreme rudeness of the GD mangers and how they think it is okay to scream over the phone. I will move my domains as soon as I can. Nothing is every easy with GoDaddy. The longer you stay the worse the customer service gets and now you can not even write them an email.

I can't access my email at Godaddy

I have been a client since 2011. I am paid up till 2018. For 3 days I cannot login into my email. I have called support over and over and they cannot change my password or anything...... I want access to my email or I want a refund. I was told I need to login but if I can't login, this is futile. When I call I ask for the manager and they will not pass me to whoever is in charge.

Go Daddy is a Bad Daddy or Deadbeat Daddy... a company to run from!

Some 15 years ago, a dear friend of mine died while working at her cat shelter. She had 58 cats in her shelter and they were slated for euthanasia. I was at the height of a career I worked very hard to get ahead in. My husband and I had also just finished saving up enough money to renovate a fixerupper we had bought. But sometimes, you just have to do the right thing...I took a leave of absence from my career and my husband and I spent every penny we had saved to save Diane's cats. We started our cat shelter. I dubbed it Saint Meows and it soon earned the title from Harvard's college newspaper "The Crimson" as the "Marines of animal rescue." I traded in my fancy suits for seats and gloves, and instead of interviewing U.S. Presidents. I was crawling along sewer pipes underneath the projects rescuing cats that had been sealed beneath them. All told, Saint Meows rescued over 2,000 cats. I took a leave from St. Meows when I became unexpectedly pregnant, but I always kept the domain registered through automatic renewal with GoDaddy. Having ever done business with this company is something I will regret for the rest of my life. My domain apparently expired; GoDaddy decided to send the notice of this expiration to an email I never used. They also can't explain that somehow after 15 years of it being on automatic renewal, it somehow was turned off. Worse yet, they never notified me they were about to sell saintmeows.com. On a Friday night, I checked my emails and went to bed. The next morning, I couldn't get into my account, access my emails, nothing, and my website was gone -- in a matter of 12 hours. GoDaddy has refused to help me only that they would be happy to negotiate the purchase of Saint Meows - my very own creation, born not to make money, but to help....in spite of an email to the "anonymous" owner detailing the history of Saint Meows, the owner has ignored me. They can't really use the name Saint Meows because it's a well established shelter, but we have lost our website name and a lot of very important to go along with it, including pending requests to help abandoned animals. All I can say is shame on GoDaddy and shame on the people who have saintmeows.com

GoDaddy - 2195 Port Issue

I just purchased my Godaddy account to find out it blocks all connections except 80 and one other. In other words we can't use the 2195 connection that is required. If you find another one please let me know.

Very very Poor response and worst services

Hi,

My customer id - 13379****

I have vps hosting 3gp windows server ,4 domain and mail with godaddy.

I paid upto one year for the mentioned above.

Server/Plesk panel/domain are not working around 4 days. They didn't inform anything about server down details as well as not response properly. so many times i called godaddy. Please rectify server issue immediately and you have take long time for server down.

I want to know the status immediately.

Server chat also disabled last two days. I couldn't chat with technical person.

when i am clicking the Server -- manage -- in plesk panel its shows the 3 days

Control panel maintenance is underway and will be completed soon. This won't affect your server

Kindly update the status.

I paid $50 for a domain I don't own...and can't get a refund

I got billed $50 for additional services on a domain I no longer own! I set up the domain correctly to not auto renew. Unfortunately, the additional services were set to auto renew. Now I'm paying for services I can't use! I missed the 30-day refund deadline by two weeks! Come on Go Daddy -- you can and should do better. BTW, the customer service rep that helped me was awesome...but unsuccessful.

Hi this is to leave my review against leading domain hosting provider - GoDaddy. I am an online book seller - onlyschoolbooks.com and from India. I must say I am surprised to experience disgusting service of GoDaddy India team.Most of the time My website is down due to their never ending maintenance service.I took the service of ‪#‎GoDaddy‬ as I thought they are really as they claim to be. But after using them for 4 months now, I am shocked.My fellow merchants also keep complaining about GoDaddy and most of them have moved their hosting.Whenever I try to call them and follow up about an existing open issue, they take details all over again and this will go on. I am waiting for my one year to get over and then I will move if nothing change. This post is to warn small merchants and businessmen trying to host on GoDaddy. Its your hard earned money so beware.

Can't Cancel Service

I purchased four domains from GoDaddy on February 5, 2014. The purchases were for one year and were set to auto-renew. I received notice of the auto renewal approximately three months ago. I was able to change the status of these accounts to NOT auto-renew. Five days ago, I received another notice that these domains were set to auto-renew, much to my surprise. I went into my account to change the status a second time, but the online system would not allow me to do that. I called customer service for assistance and they told me that my accounts had a restriction and that I needed to fill out another online form. When I attempted to fill out the form, I got an error that I could not complete the form because of a captcha code. I called customer service a second time and they told me that I needed to use a different browser, which I did not have immediate access to; when I explained I didn't have administrative rights to use a different browser, I was told it was my problem to figure out. I used another computer the next day and completed the form. I now believe that I have met the requirements to change the auto-renew status, but after trying unsuccessfully for another two days, I called customer service a THIRD time and now am being told that I have to wait 72 hours before I can change my auto-renew status. They have also told me that it will take yet a FOURTH call to cancel my domains, and that my credit card will be charged because I didn't cancel the auto-renewals soon enough. I find this entire practice highly unethical and the customer support staff extremely rude. I will dispute this through my bank as well.

What became of your domain name? Was it used as a parking page or was it back ordered by a third party which they forced your hand in so far as to hijack from you in order to profit from the back order fee which is often $100's. Who owns the domain now?

GoDaddy would only let me cancel the products related to my account if I could give them the pin number associated with said account. Chris, from their customer service department, gave me no way to get said pin saying, "How would you get into your house without the key?" Only thing is GoDaddy has the key and gave me no options to retrieve it. I'm a very easy going and mellow person but I won't tolerate being bullied by a company that doesn't care about the consumer. They clearly had ways for me to access that PIN (the email associated with the account, the credit card that they were charging, etc.) but Chris refused to give me any options or suggestions for finding said PIN. It was a terrible experience with Chris and I will not be returning to GoDaddy for any future purchases. If you're a developer who's purchasing websites often, avoid GoDaddy.

Being treated like a 5 year old by Chris, a customer service rep.

Preferred solution: I don't want anything from the company but rather to ensure this does not happen to more of your customers. At the very least, provide ways for the customer to get their PIN. And please teach Chris how to handle himself without being condescending.

I was shocked when woke up this morning and saw that godaddy decided to terminate my account without warning and instantly deleting all the websites that were hosted there. I am a freelance web developer and was working on 3 big projects there, they all were gone and I lost over 10 customers and left without a job for 4 months. When i called support they said that there is nothing they can do, so i have to deal with it myself and send numerous emails to various departments which all gave no results.

I tried to contact customer support many times, but you need to wait 30 40 minutes, and then your call will be answered by a not professional person They will guide according to them without knowing your problem And will disconnect your call My Issue is still remaining Really Poor, worst worts services i never suggest anybody to go and waste your money, do not invest with godaddy. on chat support for any issue they says go on call support and call support is really expensive I got deducted 20-30 rupees in a time. wastage of money, wastage of time. they hired few idiots. don't listen them.
