GoDADDY SCAMMERS Godaddy does not deliver BEWARE of Godaddy

12/19/17 I’d have to say GoDaddy is the worst for website building, domain name purchases, and for hosting plans. Customer service is pathetic, and godaddy itself has CONSTANT OUTAGES which will keep you from either getting into the site, getting email, or even being able to see your site on the web!

I have spent hours with customer service trying to resolve a multitude of issues for various sites in the last month. I’ve personally created over five hundred sites, and am experienced with web developing, web content, and so forth.

Godaddy is nothing but a huge disappointment and is costing me time, money, and peace of mind! Do yourself a favor, check the web for godaddy complaints.

Had a WORST customer services support experience while having chat with godaddy help chat session. First they were unable to sort out the problem.

They Dont know how to solve how to guide. and instead of that they close the chat session from there end without providing the solution.

I asked a simple solution that how can i have control panel USER id as Admin or as a customize name except of auto generated characters by Godaddy. and they were unable to sort out that problem.

I am surprised when i asked a Local vendor to customize the user name of control panel for a domain i bought from that vendor and he did it within 2 minutes. I THINK MY LOCAL VENDOR IS MORE PROFESSIONAL THAN GODADDY TEAM.

I will highly recommend not to HIRE godaddy.com as your domain hosting services provider.

Fraudulent account charges

Every time any product or service renews Go Daddy decides to renew it for longer then my account settings are set too. I cancel products and they still charge me and when calling customer service all I encounter is rude employees as well as supervisors. I will no longer be doing any business with Go Daddy and will move all of my domains as soon as possible. I was talked down to on the phone just moments ago and while I own numerous domains on their site I have never dealt with a worse customer service team. I see I am not the only one with complaints so hopefully something is done.

Godaddy - Domain buy service scam 2!

Godaddy's Domain Buy service uses highly misleading tactics that are fraudulent in spirit, if not according to the fine print. Tried twice to contact them.

No response. I have bought literally hundreds of domains over the years, but this was my first time from a disreputable company. When I saw a price beside a domain, and it even had the rate to renew the domain, I did what I always do, and went through the procedure to purchase the domain. The rate quoted was $139, and then a promo code came so it was only $69 USD or about $83 CAD.

Except I wasn't purchasing a domain, but instead this charge was simply for the right to start bidding on the domain. What a crock.

Buyer beware. GO daddy website development is a complete scam. I was sold a package at approx $2,000. Turns out half the promised functions are not actually included. Worse still, two months later and they have not provided a draft even though they promised one in 10 days from receipt of my content. Then they refused to refund the purchase price, but only after ignoring my repeated requests for updates on the website and a refund for two weeks. Save yourself the hassle and do not use GoDaddy

Godaddy 2 step verification scam

My account was activated with 2 step authentication. I am not using the mobile number which was associated with the account.

So, despite of submitting all the documents they are not allowing to gain access for my 4 year old domain. One of my domain of 2 years its . already lost. Just a scam company be aware before getting your self associated with these thugs.

Despite of making several calls and email from cancel@***.com to changeupdate.com and all the procedures which they are directing I am following with no success.

Just waiting for a day.

And, then will file a case against this company.

Which have no terms apart from link farming and selling a domain at a premium price. Think twice or will be left scammed.

I tried to cancel domain bill when I received the email notice that my account had been charged. They did not restate the policy of 5 days to cancel. As every other auto-renewal subscription announces. Phone call attempts left me waiting for over 30 minutes. They do not take email. Ichat said they would take care of the situation for me. They didn't. I asked for records of the ichat. Where I was told that godaddy has many disappointing customers. Perhaps they've forgotten they are in business for customers. And customers will on occasion find some aspects of a company lacking. Also, I went in an endless loop trying to get my password to work, or get changed. The supervisors I spoke with talked like they were on speed. With no concern that they were speaking with someone who'd been attempting to make contact for hours, days. All very flippant.

If they tell you it's in the contract, be advised they changed to 5 day window recently. If you signed up in 2016, your contract was not 5 days.

And I agree, it's the poor attitude of their staff: Just a job, customers are just a number. A bit of empathy would go along for dealing with customers who are rightfully at point of frustration by time they get to speak with an actual human being.

GoDaddy Worst Registrar Who Will Nickel & Dime You Relentlessly!

After being a GoDaddy member for approximately 14 years, I finally realized how chintzy and arrogant their attitude is towards long-term customers and probably short-term ones as well! Back in the February/March 2015 time frame, I made various purchases (5-year web hosting, 3-year SSL certificate, Site Lock, etc.) in anticipation of leveraging GoDaddy as a web hosting provider for my website. Needless to say, the performance experienced on the web hosting was nearly non-responsive with extremely inferior technical support. Responses included we are aware of the problem and looking into it. As a result, I found a much more reliable hosting provider, which is also one of GoDaddy's competitors. However, during the amount of time which was necessary to successfully transition all the capabilities to the new provider, I apparently canceled my services slightly beyond the 45-day window. After explaining how it was no fault of my own for the extremely poor quality of service and necessity to ensure proper migration to new provider, I requested a full refund for services not utilized. After speaking with various unsympathetic persons including individuals from the Billing Department, I was tritely told it would be necessary to attain an in-store credit rather than refund for the approximately $600 amount remaining from the prorated refund earlier this calendar year. I continue to find this extremely unacceptable as GoDaddy showed no attempt to fix my technical nor billing problems, which took more than 45 days. Apparently, their only concern was bleeding me for another $600 rather than providing a refund of my money. Shortly thereafter, I moved web hosting for my domain to a much more reliable provider. Moreover, was advised to send correspondence to GoDaddy CEO via blakesblog.com website. Not surprisingly, no response whatsoever was received! More recently, paid GoDaddy $4.99 for a year of auction membership on their website. For some unknown reason, I was continually redirected to 'My Products' page rather than auctions. After two phone calls to technical support, was informed my account was suspended for not purchasing a prior domain name. Explained I had no knowledge of such a transaction and asked why I was not informed of such action. Thereafter, a billing supervisor stated we can restore your access for $10. Subsequently, told him I was tired of being nickeled-and-dimed by GoDaddy, particularly as a long-time customer who obviously spent much money over the years with their company. Bottom line, GoDaddy could care less about its customer as attaining the almighty dollar is all they care about! Would definitely tell others to avoid at all costs!

Hosting Problem

I am using Godaddy Business Plan from the last 3 Years, Now suddenly my sites stops. After calling to go daddy they told me that, Even with out opening cPanel or Domain DNS Setting IP record has been deleted. So i have added that IP address but still the website is not running. Godaddy is the worst company for IT Sector. They are Big lies and non supportive. They don;t have Technical Support Person Only having Telecallers. My experienece with Godaddy is not from the first day. I told so many people that they are Cheaters and Big Non IT Company. I don;t know how godaddy is running the company without technical support persons. Don;t Buy any Hosting from Godaddy other wise may be 2 or 3 or later own you have to face godaddy one day. So its better not to choose Godaddy for Hosting.

Go Daddy cancelled my website without any notice. They told me that I would have to pay to recreate my website from scratch.

When I called them to discuss this a young lady on the phone said, "Sorry, can you pay for the rest of your things now?". She had no sympathy, empathy or anything else. I spoke to "Nick", a person that identified himself as her boss and he was condescending, rude and told me in essence, "screw you". They call you over and over again in order to get you to pre pay years in advance for services, but couldn't call me and let me know my website was about to expire. When I mentioned this to "Nick", he said and I quote, "We are not bill collectors". I have to say, I and currently searching for a new company to provide the services that I have with them and I will NEVER spend another dime with this company. I will be surprised if they are even around in 5 years.

I took domain and there was free one month online store website builder from them. I was working on startup so want not sure how will be site response. My free trial was about to over. I called them that I want to buy the subscription for one more month to get the feel. They said you don’t worry and buy for a year and any point of time you feel that it’s not going well , what ever months remaining you will get the money back. I told them I want to go for monthly option but they convinced me completely.i paid for an year. After 1.5 months I realise it’s not going well and want to stop the service. They said now it cannot be refunded. Within one month I should have said. I never took promise thing in email about talk on phone. My domain name is snowflakegift

Pathetic customer service

I've been a Godaddy customer for over 4 years. Decided 9 months ago to get a website going. Rep that helped me said she would help whenever just email her and she would contact me. After 6 months of putting my products on together and going live I had no activity. And the rep never returned my emails. Come to find out, when you searched my website, it would say this domain is parked for free at Godaddy. Unbelievable! Contacted Godaddy and got enthusiastic rep who solved some problems, promised me the world while he dogged fellow Godaddy employees. Thought this guy was really going to work for me but after adding some products and renewing my contract early to save money, I never heard from him again. That's been 2 months ago. I now have 2 accounts and the only thing that works correctly is the original email account that I conduct daily business on. Both websites are not functional. And second email account doesn't work and we can't communicate with customers. This entire ordeal sucks and I need help getting money Back and leaving!

Godaddy locked me out of my account among other problems

I asked to remove all items referring to a specific website, email , domain name, etc. Instead of the simple request they locked me out for awhile and when after countless phone calls they would not reimburse for 12 months of email when i had purchased 24. They did allow domain transfer. This is the short version. This hassle was after i had been with them for at least 12 years. I know i am small but i am a customer. I recommended them to my daughter years ago and now she is having trouble too. They cancelled or removed her business domain name and this is affecting her income. The items I asked to remove are still there but i left and am happy with a service that treats it's customers well.

I canceled my subscription after one year of use. Then I found a renewal charge on my credit card for $100.90 a year later. I called and they said there was no record of my cancelation and that I missed the 10 day notification to cancel. Avoid this company!!
